Projects

FY2017-18 WRA Project Fund Budget

The WRA will not be allocating funding for its Project Budget this fiscal year with the exception of participation with 3 other counties in the Westside-Sacramento IRWMP ($20,000 cost share)

FY2016-17 WRA Project Fund Budget

Ten projects were allocated funding in the FY2016-17 WRA Budget.  The Board adopted the Technical Committee's recommendations on June 20, 2016. In addition to these ten projects, the Yolo County Groundwater Monitoring Program will also receive funding contributed by participating member agencies.

FY2015-16 WRA Project Fund Budget

Eight projects were allocated funding in the FY2015-16 WRA Budget.  The Board adopted the Technical Committee's recommendations on June 10, 2015. In addition to these eight projects, the Yolo County Subsidence Network Monitoring Project and the Yolo County Groundwater Monitoring Program will also receive funding contributed by participating member agencies.

FY2014-15 WRA Project Fund Budget

Four projects were allocated funding in the FY2014-15 WRA Budget.  The Board adopted the Technical Committee's recommendations on June 23, 2014.

  • Westside IRWMP Implementation (Prop. 84 grant) - $20,000 (WRA cost share)
  • City of Winters Storm Water Management Planning - $15,000
  • Yolo Bypass Integrated Action - $10,000
  • The Year of Groundwater -$62,500
  • Mercury TMDL Impacts & Implementation Assessment-$15,000 (co-funded with the City of Woodland) Mercury Activities Tracking Memo 8-14-15 (working draft)

FY2013-14 WRA Project Fund Budget

Seven projects were allocated funding in the FY2013-14 WRA Budget.  The Board adopted the Technical Committee's recommendations in June 2013.

  • Westside IRWMP Implementation (Prop. 84 grant) - $20,000 (WRA cost share)
  • Yolo Bypass Integrated Action - $20,000
  • Mercury TMDL Impacts & Implementation Assessment-$16,000
  • Cache Creek Nature Preserve Building Stabilization, Cache Creek Conserv.- $12,000
  • Salmon in the Classroom/Bypass, Putah Creek Council - $10,920
  • ATV Weed Sprayer & Trailer, Lower Putah Creek CC- $10,000
  • Water Rights Legislative & Regulatory Consulting, NCWA - $4,000
  • Special Allocation: Yolo County Groundwater Monitoring Program - $89,000

FY2012-13 WRA Project Fund Budget

Seven projects were allocated funding in the FY2012-13 WRA Budget.  The Board adopted the Technical Committee's recommendations in June 2012.

  • Mercury TMDL Impacts & Implementation Assessment-$19,080 (WRA)/$5,000 (YCFC&WCD) = $24,080
  • Foundational Action: Develop Surface Water Monitoring Program -$35,000
  • Groundwater Management Plan Implemention ASR Project, City of Woodland - $24,358
  • Westside IRWMP Development (Prop. 84 grant) - $23,864 (Year 2 WRA cost share)
  • Pilot Study Co-removal of Chromium 6 & Nitrate from groundwater, City of Davis - $19,358
  • Yolo Bypass Integrated Action - $20,000
  • Water Rights Legislative & Regulatory Consulting, NCWA - $4,000
  • Special Allocation: Yolo County Groundwater Monitoring Program - $89,000

FY2011-12 WRA Project Fund Budget

Five projects were allocated funding in the 2011-12 WRA Budget.  The Board adopted the Technical Committee's recommendations in June 2011 and amended in September 2011.

FY2010-11 WRA Project Fund Budget

Four projects were allocated funding in the 2010-11 WRA Budget.  The Board adopted the Technical Committee's recommendations on June 21, 2010, click here for the report.
